5 Mood Swings for 5 - Brass Quintet Version

5 Mood Swings is an 8 minute piece in 5 movements:

Confused (Tutti)

Romantic (Featuring Trumpet)

Playful (Featuring Tuba and Horn)

Forlorn (Featuring Trombone)

Happy (Tutti)

It has been performed on many occasions and is an extremely audience friendly piece despite the demands it places on all instruments. It was recently removed as a free download on the advice of reviewers from www.sibeliusmusic.com  The "Playful" movement provides a great opportunity for the performers to entertain their audience in an interactive fashion while each member of the quintet is given ample opportunity to display their instrumental talents. Not for the feint-hearted!

Top Notch Challenge (Copied from Sibeliusmusic.com)

In searching for quality music that is both rewarding for the audience and meaningful and challenging to the ensemble, this has to be on the top 10 list. I think it has just about everything needed to keep a quintet musically challenged. The pay-off, of course, would be the audience reaction.
