This piece has the historic troubles in Northern Ireland as its subject. Although the content might be considered to be controversial, its main focus is a request that we live together, as we do as Europeans, in peace. The title is just one of a number of "play on words" contained in this short work. It was written for the Mullingar Choral Society and first performed by them on December 31st, 1999. More recently, I have added an optional Organ line which can be used if desired.
