Requiem Aeternam was written in memory of my twin brother Declan. Born severely retarded, he died in 1994 after a short illness. Originally for 8 part unaccompanied choir, it was later orchestrated for 8 part choir with full symphony orchestra. It is a challenging work lasting just 7 minutes and is the first movement of a requiem mass yet to be finished.
